Lawsuit against Ryan Lyke from June 2020 in Buffalo, New York

On June 25, 2020 Kelly Mendola sued Ryan Geoffrey Lyke and his company, R+R Development Group LLC in Buffalo City Court. If you want to share your story of getting scammed by Ryan Lyke, please feel free to post a comment to this blog.  Please leave your real name -  I will delete anything without a name attached to it because I don't want to traffic in rumors.  Again, there are a few reasons you should help: 1) to prevent other people from getting scammed 2) to help Ryan get the help he needs 3) to help others collect from Ryan 4) as a victim support group, to help yourself and others.

 The website mylife.com has a 2017 anonymous review for Ryan Lyke that simply says "scammer."

2019 Loan Default by Ryan Lyke and R+R Development Group

 30-2019-01094447-CU-BC-CJC in Superior Court Orange County, California Summary: R+R Development Group LLC, which has Ryan Lyke as the only member, borrowed $50,000 and failed to pay it back, then did not show up to court when sued. Loan to R+R Development group was granted in October of 2018, personally guaranteed by Ryan Lyke.  By March 2019, the loan was in default with $30,389.58 due.  Law suit was filed in August of 2019.  A default judgement was granted in January of 2020.  In November of 2021 action was taken to "domesticate" the judgement in New York state courts.

My name is Gunnar Ristroph.  I hired Ryan Lyke in May of 2022 to do a remodel project at my house in Round Rock, Texas. He was acting as a general contractor, with subcontractors to do drywall, insulation, cabinets, countertops, etc. After completing some of the project and taking a deposit for the next phase, the work stopped and the excuses started. By September he had blocked my phone number. By November I had filed suit. I won a default judgement (meaning that Ryan Lyke did not show up to the trial) in April of 2023. Here are the law suits against Ryan Geoffrey Lyke and/or Lyke Industries that I know about: 3SC-22-0195 in Williamson County, Texas JP3 Gunnar Ristroph sued Ryan Lyke for $9,000 for taking deposit for remodel and not finishing the job.  Gunnar Ristroph won a default judgement on April 3, 2023.
